Why we love it
White hybrid tea roses are the centrepiece here. The petals are hand-curved individually, so no two look identical, and the bloom closely resembles a fresh White Masterpiece rose. A white mophead hydrangea adds volume lower down, and a ranunculus spray brings its smaller, tighter flowers into the spaces between.
What lifts it beyond a white flower arrangement is the supporting cast. Pussy willow stems rise tall above everything with their soft, tactile buds on dark branches. Bracken fern extends outward with feathered fronds. Eucalyptus sweeps to one side with its long, oval leaves.
Three types of viburnum in different shades of green fill the middle with their rounded clusters, and lamb's ear and senecio bring their silver-grey tones to cool things down. Queen Anne's lace adds a scattering of fine white buds through the top.
At 85cm it has serious presence. It works equally well as a hallway table statement or a dining table centrepiece. Clear glass is the natural choice because the stems are worth showing, but a large white ceramic vase would work if you want something cleaner.
A fresh arrangement with this many varieties would need to be replaced weekly. This one looks just as considered on day 300 as it does on day one.
