Why we love it
This design leans into tone. Burgundy eucalyptus creates a moody base that shifts between plum, wine and green as the light changes, giving the arrangement depth before you even notice the flowers.
Soft blush hybrid tea roses and a large bud sit through the centre, adding a lighter counterpoint to the darker foliage. They stop the palette from becoming too dense and bring a gentle lift to the richer tones.
Green and purple protea introduce structure and shape. Their layered petals add a more architectural edge that sets this apart from a typical seasonal mix. Pink hypericum berries thread subtle detail throughout, while tall foxtail grass adds height and a loose, meadow-like movement at the edges.
It feels abundant without being crowded. The variation in flower size and foliage keeps every angle interesting, which gives it presence on a dining table or a wide mantelpiece.
Style in a charcoal, cream or textured vase and let the burgundy tones do the work.
The warmth of autumn, held exactly at its best — long after the real stems would have faded.
